| 2404 | Cardassian criminal Gul Dulon leads rebellion on Cardassia. The Cardassians attack and occupy Starbase 968.
Starbase 45 is destroyed by Captain Julius Phelps, his mind under the control of Gul Dulon, who also possessed a trilithium weapon and the USS Spearhead. Dulon's plan to destroy the Earth's star was averted at the cost of the USS Titan and the star Proxima Centuari, with great loss of life and environmental devastation on the inhabited worlds of the Centauri system.
The Borg attack SB23, but are repelled. Admiral Grange is captured and assimilated during the attack.
Starbase 45 is destroyed by Captain Julius Phelps who has been under control of Gul Dulon.
Starfleet Marines Corp stage the successful retrieval of Admiral Grange from Borg control.
The Federation signs the 'Accord of Three' with the RSE and the Lans Confederation in order to set-up a defense strategy against the Chudoxn. A Triumvirate leadership board is set up on Arylne Hru, a large, planet-based installation located on the Romulan Star Empire protectorate planet Fvillhaih Arylne.
15 Federation Starships in the Gamma Quadrant become infected with a previously unknown virus called the Halla virus, which make those infected more aggressive. These 15 ships attack Romulan and Klingon ships which were exploring the Quadrant. The Klingon and Romulan forces in the Quadrant quickly become infected and believe that they are at war with the Federation. They combine forces and attack the Federation Starbase at DSG1 which hasn't yet been infected. The station was badly damaged but survived the attack as Federation reinforcements arrived lead by the USS Relentless. |

| 2405 | The Romulan Star Empire withdraws from the 'Accord of Three' following the terrorist bombing of Arylne Hru, closing this sphere of Federation influence in the Beta Quadrant.
Crew members of the USS McCoy create a vaccination for the Halla virus and medical personal on both DSG1 and SB968 find a cure, both the vaccination and the cures were used to remove the Virus from the Alpha and Gamma Quadrants.
The crew from DSG1 make first contact with the KON-TA-TAY.
The Dominion KON-TA-TAY war begins in the Gamma Quadrant. The Federation has offered to host a peace conference between both sides, but this offer hasn't been excepted by either side yet.
DSG1 detected a Borg scout ship as it dropped out of warp in the Kelsius system and then started to create a temporary transwarp conduit. The crew of DSG1 acted quickly, but were unable to stop two cubes from exiting the conduit. These two cubes started work on a new conduit, it was quickly realised that the Borg were trying to open a second front against the Dominion. The Dominion offered assistance and sent ships, and Starfleet sent what reinforcements it could, but the conduit had to be destroyed. After the conduit was destroyed the Borg attacked DSG1 and during the battle about a third of DSG1 crew was killed, but both cubes had been destroyed.
A black hole is detected entering the Kelsius system and as its course is plotted its realised that its heading towards the Gamma quadrant terminus of the Bajorian worm hole no one knows for sure how much damage an interaction between a wormhole and black hole will cause. Its worked out that a small change in the black hole direction now due to the distance involved will prevent this from happening. USS Vanguard evacuates DSG1 and the station is lost, but its destruction creates a quantum singularity which gravity causes the black hole to change its course just slightly. |

| 2406 | USS Vanguard is ordered to investigate the sudden appearance of advanced technology on Tamaria III while the Tamarian civilisation was just entering the industrial revolution. The Vanguard discovers a small Cardassian mining operation and links of corruption between the local government and the Cardassians. The mining ring is closed and Federation assistance on culture development is offered. This event for some reason has lead to increased tension between the Federation and the Cardassian Union.
Bajoran terrorists begin to attack Federation targets, they demand that Bajor leaves the Federation.
Starbase 968 hit by terrorists attack when both the USS Vanguard and USS Masada is docked, at the same time that a nearby Federation colony is attacked by an unknown threat. |
